More on Why the US is Still Trying to Reduce the Population When We Are Running Out of Babies

Daniel Patrick Moloney has two of a projected three part series posted on Public Discourse. If you are interested in the topic of the Philip Longman book I discussed yesterday (The Empty Cradle: How World Birthrates Threaten World Prosperity) and wonder why public policy is still acting as if overpopulation was the problem when it clearly is not, then you might find these articles interesting. The titles of the first two articles are:

1. Forcing the Poor to Stop Having Children
2. The Racist Origins of US Family Planning Policy

By the way, every US administration since Nixon has been in on this approach. Just something to think about.
